Walmer Castle Beach Clean 31st October 2021

 

Thank you to our 15 volunteers on this afternoon's postponed beach clean at Walmer Castle Beach - about 20kgs collected in 8 full bags - including some unopened beer, a full set of DingBats and lot of bottles and cans.

Our next Community Beach Clean is Sunday 21st November at Sandown Castle end of Deal Beach 10am. #pickdealclean

Apple Glean 25th October 2021

Around 920kgs of cox apples and pears collected on todays glean on eastry.

Most of it going to FareShare Kent plus Dover Pantry, Sandwich Pantry Bechange Community Hub Deal Age Uk.

Apple Gleaning in Eastry 14th October 2021

 

Thank you to our Gleaning team in eastry today - Joanne, Lucy, Clair. Sarah, Andrew, Gillian, Jill, Linda, Sally, Tim & Steve - who collected some 630kgs of Idareds apples.

This is our 40th Glean of 2021 with 11.5 tons of food collected
