We collected some 13 sacks which weighed over 33kgs.
Deal beach warden, Wendy Boorman said "it was a fantastic effort. We picked a lot of rubbish up in a relatively short stretch of beach in a short time. What was disappointing was the sheer amount of broken glass from drinks bottles we found. Which as well as being an eyesore is a danger to families enjoying our beach"
