DEAL INWITHIT ENERGY WORKSHOPS
The Public Meeting organized by the Deal With It Group at a packed St. Georges Church, Michael Meacher MP gave an impressive speech on U.K’s energy record for renewable energy with Finlands 48% and Germany at 18% -
The UK was less than 1%.
Moved by the appalling situation and the energy catastrophe that we are heading for Jack Domane, a retired design engineer, decided that Deal must wake up and do something about it, Deal Inwithit Energy Workshops was created with a Forum of 2 design engineers, a mechanical engineer and a member from a well known National Electronic Marketing Company as a totally non profit organisation
A study-engineering programme was set up covering all aspects of climate change to benefit the community and others at a realistic, AFFORDABLE COST. Any member of the public, whether technically minded or not, is invited to join the group. It is intended that a co-operative will be formed where we help one another in all general technical problems but concentrating on all matters of solar energy and climate change.
Projects: -
- Conservatory garden heat rooms that pump the wasted heat throughout the house (Passive thermal-mass solar heating) this project now completed with two working units, a great success.
- Self produced free electric power that can be fed into the grid (using photovoltaic panels and savonious vertical wind generators. Project complete).
- Solar water heating. (Project nearing completion)
- Providing bio diesel and heating oil from waste vegetable oils and fats. (Experiments conclusive).
- In depth study and design of the production of oils, food, animal fodder, gas, fertilizer with phameucitcal bi products from diatom bacillariophyta algae (Interesting designs for infrastructure and logistics for mass production farming).
All those with technical knowledge or interest would be particularly welcome together with others who would like to be part of a helpful solar energy co-operative.
D.I.E.W has the fundamental principle of tackling our climate change problems by creating energy systems that are attractive and provide good financial returns. LET’S STOP TALKING ABOUT IT AND GET ON WITH IT. WE MUST IMPROVE OUR APPALLING ENERGY RECORD BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.
