Deal Castle Beach Clean 30th August 2021

Thank you to our 15 volunteers on today's bank holiday beach clean - weather not as advertised Iam afraid but we did well with about 8 bags collected (including a head and arm !)

BEE Fest 29th August 2021

Thank you to everyone who came to the garden today ... some 306 of you ... and the generous donations which amounted to £290. All of which gets ploughed back into rhe garden (pun intentional)

Thanks to Dover Beekepers and our garden volunteer team of Penny, Lucy, Anna, Sonja, Jenny, Rose, Rafi & Steve for running the event and of course to our resident bees (bumble, solidary and honey)

We will be open for Deal Hop Farm harvest in Setptember and the Heritage Day Tour on 19th Sept

Glean 26th August 2021

Another big glean today for Felix and local food charities. Some 1.5tons of potatoes and cabbage collected by volunteers from Deal and Hythe.
