On Wednesday we took delivery our new lock up for the Deal Station Garden - supplied by SE Railway.
Hooray! DWI's community garden at Deal Station is back up and running (it looked a bit touch a go a few months ago AND we still have too little volunteer fuel in the tank but . . ). Yesterday, Wed, Southeastern delivered and installed a new dry lockup for us. We also have little open-air lockup and the new tap and we have been able to plant afresh for our 4TH SUMMER SEASON the 5 planters on platform 1, the planters in front of the station and the 2 planters on platform 2.
Steve & co will be litter picking this SATURDAY 23RD from 10am by the meadow outside platform All welcome!
ALSO We desperately need 5 more volunteers if we are to be able to cope with watering+ care in the 5 months through to end Sept. email station@dealwithit.org.uk please if you can help.
In photos you see me and Roisin who is kindly taking over as secretary from me in July.
