Plastic Free Deal

Part of the Surfers Against Sewage initiate 'Plastic Free Coastlines' a new group has been established to help the town to ditch single use plastic 'Plastic Free Deal'.

 We join groups around the country and in Kent with groups in Ramsgate, Margate, Whitstable, Faversham. Several communities around the country have already gained 'Plastic Free' status

The aim is for all businesses, local authorities, community groups and individuals in the town to stop using at least three pieces of single use plastic and keep the momentum going to work to reduce our use of plastic.

The group is formally launching itself from the 15th April. They have their own facebook, twitter and can be emailed at PlasticFreeDeal@gmail.com and website at www.plasticfreedeal.org.uk
