Deal Hop Farm

In 2017 we created a patchwork hop farm made up of peoples’ gardens, allotments, and community gardens & spaces in and around the town.

Now in our sixth season with over 265 sites and over 440 people involved. Our local brewing partner Time & Tide Brewing has used our hops in 18 different style of beer which was available in local pubs, cafes, shops and even the local record store!

In doing this we also produced a fantastic community spirit involving several hundred people in the town in the hop harvest. It is a great example of ‘local food’ linking local growers with, local brewery and local pubs.

Seedy Saturdays

We run a series of Seedy Saturday's during the year (one a quarter) which are around a seed and plant swap but also have other themes like Bees or Apples.

The idea is encourage eveyone to have go at growing food, swap seeds experience and knowledge

This video is from out September 2015 Bee Fest thanks again to PR Films for the video

Deal Bleach Cleans

Deal With It organises several beach cleans each year

This is a video of our July 2015 one (thx to Jayne at PRFilms)
