Thank you to 7 volunteers on today massive potato glean with some 980kilos being collected and distributed to food charities in east kent

Many thanks to farmer Geoff for the farm's donation and hosting us. Great to see the Donkeys, Lamas and Reindeer again

This was our 53rd glean of the year ...with running total of 25.6tons collected in 2026

Sandown Beach Clean 16th Nov 2025

 

Thank you to our 25 volunteers on todays Sandown Castle Beach Clean; we managed to collected over 20kilos of rubbish today just before the rain landed - a lot of cheap lager cans in the rocks and loads of dog poo bags!

Thanks to our colleagues at Sandown Castle Community Garden Deal Kent for keeping this end of our beach so special.

Our next beach clean is on Sunday 14th Dec on Walmer Green at 10am meet at The Sea Cafe on the Green
