Potato Glean Broadstairs 27th Nov 2025

 


Thank you to 7 volunteers on today massive potato glean with some 980kilos being collected and distributed to food charities in east kent

Many thanks to farmer Geoff for the farm's donation and hosting us. Great to see the Donkeys, Lamas and Reindeer again

This was our 53rd glean of the year ...with running total of 25.6tons collected in 2026

Gleaning apples in preston

 



Double glean today with some 800kilos of produce (potatoes and apples) collected and distributed to local food charities today

Massive thank you our 15 volunteers and our supporting farmers


So far this year the team have done 46 gleans with amazing 22 tons of food collected

Brocolli and Potato Gleans 26th Nov




Thank you to our Deal With It Gleaning volunteers (Jane & Mark, Sally & Tim, Sarah L, Sarah G, Lucy, Jill and Steve) on today's two Gleans

Last Cherry Glean Date is Monday 7th August at 3pm nr Eastry


The Last cherry glean organised by the #KentGleaningNetwork will be on Monday 7th August at 3pm to 6ish at a farm near Eastry

There will be other gleans throughout August usually on a Monday and Wednesday  at farms with potatoes, cabbages and Cauliflowers (not all of these are suitable for kids)
