Gleaning 5th March

 

Today was a triple glean of potatoes, cabbage & Purple Sprouting Broccoli.

Our 7 volunteers collected and distributed some 486kilos to local food charities

Our first time in a dryish field this year!

On Monday many of us refreshed our 1st Aid skills with a days training provided by Social Enterprise Kent .

We are grateful to Deal Town Council for funding this.

All this week we recieved our AED (defibrillator) from Foodrise - for climate, nature, justice funded by Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) which we are also very grateful.
